East of England’s media firms
pitch for international business
The pitches, which were presented to ten media decision makers from countries including the USA, Korea, Sweden and Canada, included concepts for what could be the next big television hit following in the steps of other global successes such as Millionaire, Dragon’s Den and X-Factor. Also attending the event were 20 observers from a range of companies interested in taking on new projects.
The panel presented awards to two of the best pitches – producer Andy Murrow of Last Ditch Television won a £7,500 grant from Screen East for his reality TV concept “My Dad Cooks Best”
Filmed another new pilot for a TV-cookery show in Norfolk, "My Dad Cooks Best". This one was real hard work but great fun. Hopefully will have a good show when edited and TV channels will be flocking to sign it up. Producer (Andy) should have first edit by the end of September, will post more when I can.
Filmed a pilot for a new TV cookery show. We did the filming right here in my home town of Burnham on Sea. The filming went real well and was directed by Andy Murrow. We filmed in a local supermarket, my kitchen, the sea front and also in the High Street. All the film we shot over the 2 days is winging its way to Norwich to be edited......Can't wait to see it. I will hopefully have some pics to add shortly and maybe even a little video teaser.
